We were planning to have the grand opening of this site on Black Friday, in November 2022, as we are still adding functionality to it. The SARS-CoV-2  Coronavirus, Covid-19, pandemic caused us to open it now. People need to be able to sell the Personal Protective Equipment - PPE - they are making to help the front line in this war against the corona virus: the doctors, nurses, hospital staff, transportation workers, testers and everyone who needs personal protective equipment. Those people need to find it right away. So, our classified ads and the products in our Catalog are location aware, and require you to enter a city and post code, and optionally geo-coordinates (latitude and longitude - not required, and can be automatically taken from your location if you give it permission).

Nearly half of doctors have sourced their own personal protective equipment (PPE) because of a lack of availability through normal health channels, according to a survey of front-line staff. A Medical Association survey of more than 16,000 doctors found that, although PPE supplies have improved, more needs to be done.  Proud and innovative Aussie individuals and companies rose to the occasion by re-tooling and manufacturing PPE at short notice.
